Description

These are foxelot siblings Fozzy and Lottie. I intend them to become the mascot of Anthro-Fantasy Club [link]

I know my reference sheet isn't very good, it's the first I've ever done... I suppose I have to add more information as needed *blush*

Foxelots have the acute foxy muzzle and a bushy tail, reminding a combination of the snow leopard's and foxes' tails. It is marked with black bands and has a white tip. Their ears are fairly large and pointed, like foxes', not rounded like ocelots'. They have a single, white spot on the back of each black ear. Their fur is very beautiful and soft, the base color vary from tawny to reddish brown, and has black spots, stripes and rosettes, the breast and tummy are white from muzzle to crotch, paws are compact and black. Nose is salmon colored and eyes have black "lining".

Foxelots are dainty, slender animals. They can be up to 100 cm 3'2" in length + 45 cm (1'6") tail and weighs 10-15 kg (20-33 pounds). Females are slightly smaller.

They live in burrows, similar to hobbit houses, and in the summer they sometimes build gazebos in thickets and bushes. Very intrigate work, very beautiful.

They are monogamous - marry for life - and have small litters, usually only two kits, like here. Both parents stay at home and take care of kits.

They like to use bits and parts from their prey as clothing - if they wear any clothing - and their prey is small rodents, monkeys, birds, insects, fish, snakes, amphibians - basically anything that's smaller than they. Foxelot parties are very fascinating occasions, many foxelots have tall headpieces and outfits made all of feathers.

All their senses are excellent, and their language is very complex and intricate - it's very vocal and they use a lot of gestures and facial expressions - they have clear markings on their face for that purpose. Every foxelot has their own unique markings. (I haven't been very precise with Fozzy and Lottie.)

Anyway, "technical facts" - made with Faber Castell PITT artist pen, black Indian ink - and colored with PSP8
